The Leadership Vanguard

Meet the leaders who do not apply.

The Leadership Vanguard is a discreet, invitation only compendium of senior leaders who are not on the open market but are open to the right opportunity. Approved subscribers receive it each month, in confidence.

Three principles

Discreet, curated and consent based.

01

Discreet by design

Profiles are anonymised. Identities surface only after a board confirms intent and the leader authorises the introduction.

02

Curated, not crowdsourced

Inclusion is by invitation. Each leader is vetted on tenure, scope, references and sector pedigree before entering the Vanguard.

03

Mutual consent

Both sides choose to engage. The compendium is the doorway to a conversation, and every introduction is authorised in writing.

A sample profile

What a subscriber receives.

Every profile follows the same structure, so a board can read and compare leaders quickly. In the compendium each profile carries fuller detail: distinguishing highlights, working style, motivations and credibility markers.

How it works

Six steps from invitation to introduction.

01

Invitation and vetting

Leaders are invited by the firm and vetted before inclusion.

02

An anonymised profile

Each leader is presented under a Vanguard code and codename, with identities, employers and personal details withheld.

03

The monthly compendium

Approved subscribers receive the compendium by email each month, in confidence.

04

Intent confirmed

The board or chief executive confirms interest in a specific profile.

05

Consent to introduce

The leader authorises the introduction in writing, for that opportunity only.

06

The introduction

Both parties meet. A modest introduction fee applies, and the appointment continues on the subscriber terms.

Fees

Priced for a direct introduction.

Terms are agreed in writing with each subscriber before the first issue.

01

The subscription

Approved subscribers receive the compendium each month by email. Subscription is by request and approved by the firm.

02

An introduction fee

When both sides agree to meet, a modest introduction fee applies.

03

A reduced placement fee

If the client appoints the leader, the placement fee is significantly reduced, compared with a full retained search.
